IQSTATS is an advanced football player performance analysis system that provides accurate data on player levels, match performance, strengths, and weaknesses to help them develop and improve.
Task
Developed a Data Collection System: We built a sophisticated system to collect and analyze statistical and qualitative data on player performance in matches and training. Created Advanced Analytical Algorithms: We worked on developing specialized algorithms that process data and transform it into actionable insights about each player's strengths and weaknesses. Designed Visual Dashboards: We designed a user interface and dashboards that display data in an easy-to-understand visual manner, making it simple for coaches and players to review performance
Over-reliance on Traditional Evaluations: Teams often depend on manual assessments and personal observations, which leads to inaccurate and subjective evaluations of player performance.
Lack of Accurate and Comprehensive Data: Obtaining detailed and real-time data on player performance during matches is a significant challenge, hindering decision-making based on tangible facts.
Difficulty in Identifying Strengths and Weaknesses: Coaches find it difficult to accurately pinpoint the specific strengths and weaknesses of each player, making individual development plans ineffective
Absence of Advanced Analytical Tools: Current systems lack advanced analytical tools that allow for high-level performance evaluation, such as real-time performance analysis and measuring effort levels.
The Challenge of Systematic Player Development: Without accurate and systematic data, it becomes difficult to create sustainable development plans for players, which affects their professional careers and overall performance.
Provided Objective and Accurate Evaluations: The system succeeded in providing data-driven evaluations, which eliminated personal bias and offered a clear view of player performance.
Accelerated the Decision-Making Process: Thanks to readily available data, coaches were able to make informed tactical and training decisions faster and more effectively.
Improved Individual and Team Performance: The insights derived from the analyses helped players better understand their performance, leading to noticeable improvements at both the individual and team levels.
