Tanafos Platform
Non-profit sector procurement management platform. Tanafos works as an intermediary electronic platform with the aim of collecting purchase requests from non-profit sector entities and providing the opportunity for suppliers to submit their commercial offers.
Task
Designed an Integrated Procurement System: We built a platform that connects non-profit entities with certified suppliers to facilitate all procurement procedures, from placing requests to managing contracts. Created Tools for Contract and RFP Management: We worked on developing specialized tools to manage the RFP and contract cycle from start to finish, digitally and automatically. Developed an Analytics and Reporting System: We built a comprehensive system to collect data on spending and provide accurate reports to support financial decision-making.
Manual and Inefficient Processes: Many non-profit organizations rely on traditional and manual methods to manage procurement processes, which leads to wasted time, increased errors, and a lack of efficiency.
Lack of Transparency: The non-profit sector faces a challenge in ensuring full transparency for all procurement transactions, which is essential for demonstrating accountability to donors and supervisory bodies.
Difficulty Finding Suppliers: Non-profit entities find it difficult to access a reliable and diverse database of suppliers and service providers suitable for their needs.
Managing Contracts and RFPs: Managing the RFP and contract cycle is a complex and time-consuming process, especially when dealing with multiple parties manually.
Lack of Analytics and Reports: Organizations lack comprehensive tools for generating reports and analytics about their spending, which limits their ability to make informed financial decisions.
Data Security Challenges: Storing sensitive data related to suppliers, donors, and contracts is critical, and traditional methods are not secure enough.
Streamlined Administrative Processes: The platform succeeded in automating manual processes, which led to a significant increase in efficiency and saved users a lot of time and effort.
Enhanced Transparency and Accountability: The platform enabled organizations to demonstrate full transparency of their financial operations to donors and supervisory bodies through the digital documentation system.
